چکیده
The release of azo dye contaminants from textile industries into the environment is an issue major concern. Nanoscale zerovalent iron (nZVI) has been extensively studied in degradation pollutants such as methyl orange (MO). In this study, was coupled with copper and silver to make trimetallic Fe/Cu/Ag nanoparticles, order enhance MO increase reactivity catalyst by delaying rate oxidation iron. synthesis nanoparticles (Fe/Cu/Ag) carried out using sodium borohydride reduction method. characterization particles performed XRD, XPS, EDX, TEM. analyses confirmed successful nanoparticles; TEM images also showed desired structures geometry nanoscale particles. assessment a notable within few minutes reaction. effect parameters nanoparticle dosage, initial concentration, solution pH on investigated. Methyl efficiency reached 100% 1 min reaction at low pH, lower concentration higher dosage. followed pseudo first-order kinetics greatly influenced parameters. Additionally, LC-MS technique that occurs through splitting bond. have proven be appropriate efficient alternative for treatment wastewater.

Synthesis, characterization and degradation activity of Methyl orange Azo dye using synthesized CuO/α-Fe2O3 nanocomposite
This study investigated the photo-degradation of methyl orange (MO) as a type of azo dye using a CuO/α-Fe2O3 nanocomposite. A CuO/α-Fe2O3 powder with a crystalline size in the range of 27-49 nm was successfully prepared using simple co-precipitation along with a sonication method. The characterization of the synthesized sample was done via XRD, FE-SEM, EDS, FTIR and DRS analyses. The Tauc equat...
متن کاملThe Photocatalytic Kinetics of the Methyl Orange Degradation in the Aqueous Suspension of Irradiated TiO2
Background: In the present study, the photocatalytic (TiO2/UV) batch process has been used for the methyl orange (MO) degradation. Methods: In the catalyst range from 0.25 to 1.5 g/L, the optimum concentration of TiO2 was found to be 0.5 g/L. The kinetic behavior of MO degradation has been evaluated using the non-linear form of pseudo-first order and pseudo-second order models. Results: The g...
